Trinity House STRTP is based on a reality-oriented treatment program. Residents receive natural consequences for their actions, both positive and negative, from direct staff, management, or placement agencies. The program is designed for residents who demonstrated behavior that cannot be managed effectively in their current family setting or within their community. Program objectives focus on family reunification through increasing the resident's behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, leadership development and effective decision-making. All community resources are utilized to ensure that residents receive proper counseling, medical treatment, recreation, and individualized scholastic programs. The professional staff at Trinity House STRTP work with each resident to improve their self-esteem, identity, and teach respect.
